When the Ginkgo paves our streets
With golden yellow fans,
And we like royalty
Lightly tread upon them.
The great eventful Present hides the Past, but through its loud din, hints and echoes from the life behind steal in — John Greenleaf Whittier
When the Ginkgo paves our streets
With golden yellow fans,
And we like royalty
Lightly tread upon them.
Love this. Great picture too.

Alas, we don’t have any ginkgos down here in the deep south, but remember them well from Bloomington. I guess it must be fall.
